1.
Tell us about your personal path to CFM Materials.
I enlisted into the United States Air
Force right after graduating high school and have been in the
aviation industry ever since. After spending 4 years traveling the
world and working on some of the most dominant fighter aircraft in
the military, I left and pursued my Airframe and Powerplant License
through the FAA. Later that year I started my journey within the
Safran Group at Turbomeca. I spent 5 years there working as a test
cell technician and MRO Quality Engineer. After that, I was hired on
by CFM Materials as a Technical Services Manager, which led to my
current role – TRUEngine Fulfillment Manager.
2.
What is your role within CFM Materials?
I have been the TRUEngine Fulfillment
Manager for a couple of years now. I manage all of CFM’s TRUEngine
and TRUEngine LLP qualifications.
3.
What is TRUEngine?
TRUEngine is a proactive method for
identifying engines and LLP that have been maintained in accordance
with CFM-issued recommendations. Today, there are more than 9,000
CFM56 engines in the TRUEngine Program.
4.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
The best part of my job is without a
doubt the people I work with. The work environment at CFM Materials
is like nothing else I have ever experienced. I also work with great
people externally. Building solid customer relationships is
something that I strive every day to do.
5.
How do you see the business growing over the next five years?
Seeing how much the business has grown
and evolved over the past 5 years; I can’t imagine what it will look
like in the next 5. It’s rewarding knowing that we are owned by CFM
– and with that, brings the ability for CFM Materials to branch out
into other aspects of the aftermarket business.
