5 Questions for 5 Employees

Philippe Habrard - Vice President of Programs

GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas – June 16th, 2016

1.      Tell us about your personal path to CFM Materials.

I was one of the original members of the company when it was spun off GE Aviation Materials in 2010; before that, I had been in used material and engine trading with CFM and GE since 1998. I consider myself a pioneer in the Used CFM56 market and a pure product of the Safran-GE partnership.

2.      What is your role within CFM Materials?

I manage Procurement and Programs, but my main role is to ensure a successful partnership, inspired by the CFM International joint venture, and coordinate relations with our parent companies.

3.      How do LRUs being offered through CFMM impact our business?

They will give access to a new world of services and customers: the Airlines

4.      What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?

This is a very dynamic market, with many creative and adaptive solutions to be developed with our customers. Reward comes everyday, sometimes just talking about these solutions and mutual understanding about them.

5.      How do you see the business growing over the next five years?

I foresee more exchange services between operators, MRO actors and companies like us, with sustained contractual relations and partnerships over a longer time span.
