TIMELINE

  • 1988 - Turbine Parts International (TPI) is formed.
  • 1995 - First CFM56 Engine is parted out.
  • 2000 - GE Aviation acquired 100% of TPI and forms GE Aviation Materials.
  • 2002 - Snecma acquires 20% of GE Aviation Materials.
  • 2010 - New company is created as a 50/50 JV between GE and Snecma called CFM Materials, LP.

Bill Correll

Bill Correll has held increasing levels of responsibility throughout his career at the Aviall engine shop at Love field where he worked from 1985 until 2002 when he joined GE-Aviation Materials. His various positions include: Accounting Supervisor, Director of Program Management for CFM56, Integration Leader, and Lean Leader. Bill holds a bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University. He is also a certified black belt through the GE Six Sigma program. He has been in his current role as President since the creation of CFM Materials, LP in May of 2010.

Benoit Guerder

Benoit holds a master of Finance and Controlling from one of the leading business school in France. He joined the Safran group with Labinal Inc in 2008 as a Controller and also held various responsibilities in information systems, risks management, internal control and project management. He is a certified green belt and has also completed several advanced management development programs through Safran Corporate University. Benoit was appointed CFO of CFM Materials in July 2013.

Philippe Habrard

Philippe Habrard graduated from Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Commerciales Appliquées (ESLSCA - Paris) in 1986, Philippe has joined Snecma the following year and held several roles as controller and contract administrator before moving to CFM in Cincinnati in 1998. Philippe has been part of GEAM since 2002, representing Snecma, and assisted in the creation of CFM Materials before taking the role of VP, Programs in May 2010.

Jimmy Hill

Jimmy serves as VP of Sales and is responsible for managing CFM Materials revenue-generating activities of engine sales, acquisitions and consignments as well as the selling of Used Serviceable Material for the Americas and Asia-Pacific Regions. Prior to joining CFM Materials, Jimmy served as a Director of Component Repair sales for GE Aviation covering both North and South America. He has held several sales positions with increasing responsibility since coming to Aviation in 1995 from Operations. Jimmy holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin - Madison.

Robert Burns

Robert Burns serves as leader of the regional USM sales directors covering Asia-Pacific, Americas, Europe and the Middle East. In 2016 he moved from CFMM’s Blackbelt/Growth Leader position where he successfully lead the company through a complete ERP migration, division re-structure, and several process re-engineering assignments. Since 2011, Robert’s previous roles at CFM Materials include Program Manager and Director of Engine Trading. He has a Harvard University BA in Economics.

Pierre Conan

Pierre serves as Technical Director and is responsible for managing the technical and quality aspects of CFM Materials. He has a Master of Science from one of the leading engineering schools in France and joined the Safran Group with Turbomeca in 2004. Pierre moved to Turbomeca USA in 2006 where he held various positions including Supplier Quality Engineer, Operations Quality Manager and Associate Director of Quality of the Part 21 & 145 plant. He became a permanent resident in the United States in 2009 and joined CFM Materials in October 2012.
