CFM Materials, LP celebrated five years of operations on May 31, 2015. As a GE Aviation and Snecma (Safran) 50/50 joint venture, the company continues to focus on providing used serviceable CFM56 parts and assemblies to its customers around the world.
“In the five years since we became independent from GE Aviation Materials, we have transitioned our portfolio from a primarily CFM56-3 parts provider to a market-leading provider of CFM56-5B and CFM56-7B material in order to support our customer’s requirements,” said Bill Correll, president of CFM Materials.
When the company opened its doors in 2010, it occupied approximately 89,000 square feet across three distribution centers located in Texas, Amsterdam, and Singapore with an additional sales presence in Cardiff, Wales. Today, the company has grown to more than 107,000 square feet and has strategically expanded its personnel by 26%.
With the continued support of industry leading parent companies and its loyal business partners, CFM Materials has grown to include third-party consignments, engine exchanges, and scrap replacement programs. Employing a staff with more than 100 years of combined MRO experience, the company is looking forward to continued material support and offering additional services to match the truly dynamic and evolving market.
CFM Materials thanks its valued customers and colleagues for a successful first five years and is looking forward to the next five years and beyond.
